Minutes to fix bad live game data
CBS Sports Data & Delivery · 2023
Live sports data tools
Internal tools that keep event and player data accurate while games are on. After a live data incident, I added on-the-fly corrections; batch fixes across 20+ games now take 3–5 minutes.

04About
A developer who cares about the bigger picture
Mechanical engineering, then industrial IoT, then Skydance. I like software that has to work while the game is on.
Outside of work: pickleball, games, and new music.
At Skydance I cut live data correction time from about 30 minutes to five for CBS Sports — the kind of operational win that matters when millions are watching.
